This buffalo (American Bison) mural has 42 tiles, 20 image tiles and 22 frame tiles. The mural tiles are not mounted. Please see Tile Mounting Methods in the hamburger menu at the top of the home page for suggestions.

The mural is approximately 38" wide and 32" tall but the actual dimension will depend on whether the tiles are attached to the wall and grouted with 1/16" to 1/8" lines. If 1/8", add 3/4" to the width and 5/8" to the height.

These tiles are made of a cream colored porcelain, mostly covered by underglaze coloring. I put a clear gloss glaze over each tile.

I like this view of a bison that was on the internet and I put the bison in Chautauqua Park in Boulder in front of the Flatiron mountains.
