Installation Locations

My tiles are made of a porcelain/stoneware clay mixture that is fired to 2200 degrees F, where the clay undergoes chemical changes that render it vitreous, or glass-like throughout. The tiles are virtually impervious to water even before the glaze (a form of glass) is applied to the surface, which is also impervious to water.

This glass-like nature of the clay of the tiles allows them to be installed anywhere. They can be put in wet locations such as swimming pools, fountains, steam rooms, shower stalls, walkways indoors and out, and kitchens and bathrooms.

The surface of the tiles have patterns, like bas-relief carvings where the "high" areas are about 1/16" higher than the "low" areas so if the tiles are used as floor, shower floor or walkway tiles (indoors or out) they give a bit of a grip for safer walking and standing but the height of the patterns are not so big that one would trip on them.

I like to think of my Connectiles as "kitchen art", "kitchen wall art", "bath art", "floor art", etc.
