Tree #1 - Orange

I made this simple design to explore the tactile feel of a tree pattern with a visual look of a simple color to make a connection with the beauty of nature that is common. I have made several tiles with this design with various colors but this is the only tile of this design that I have framed. I chose the bronzed anodized aluminum to compliment the warm colors of the tree, ground and shadow. 

My eroded tiles are intended to enhance the visual feel of a space but also to provide a tactile experience where one can also touch the image. If the tile gets dirty, just clean it in a dishwasher or clean it with a damp sponge. 

This single rectangular tile is framed with bronzed anodized aluminum, mounted on a waterproof board with a wire on the back to be hung on a wall. The frame dimensions are 6-1/4" by 9-1/4". 

This simple piece could be placed anywhere a small art piece would enhance a space. It is made of 100% waterproof materials so it also could bring a warm color to a moist environment such as a shower, bath, steam room, or pool area where art made of paper or other organic materials might deteriorate.
